Collected weekly on Mondays

City of Billings Garbage Collection Website

  • Curbside cardboard recycling monthly on the first Monday of each month
    • Put cardboard on curb by 7:00 am.
    • Cardboard must be dry and free of food, oil, stains, packing peanuts, plastic bags, and bubble wrap.
      • Box board packages (cereal boxes, etc.) are accepted.
      • Cardboard egg cartons, drink cartons, and toilet paper cores are accepted.
    • Boxes must be flattened or cut up.
      • One large box may be used as a container for smaller flattened cardboard boxes.
    • NOT accepted:
      • Milk cartons
      • Paper products
      • Pizza boxes (unless they’re clean)
    • Do NOT set out cardboard during rainy weather.
